About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Shipwright to join our growing team. This role involves the construction, repair, restoration, and maintenance of traditional wooden boats using both heritage and modern boatbuilding techniques. Shipwrights typically work on hull construction, framing, planking, repairs, and structural restoration.
Key Responsibilities
Wooden boat construction and restoration
Hull, frame, keel, and plank repairs
Traditional caulking and fastening work
Reading plans and working from drawings
Timber selection and preparation
Maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety
Requirements
Experience in boatbuilding, shipwright work, carpentry, or a related trade
Strong woodworking skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for traditional craftsmanship and maritime heritage
Experience with traditional wooden boats is desirable but not essential
Joiner / Marine Joiner

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Joiner to assist with the interior and exterior woodworking elements of our projects. This role focuses on producing high-quality bespoke joinery for wooden boats, including cabinetry, seating, hatches, companionways, trim work, and other custom features.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture and installation of bespoke marine joinery
Interior fit-outs and cabinetry
Repair and restoration of existing wooden features
Working with traditional and modern woodworking tools
Producing high-quality finishes and detailing
Collaborating with shipwrights and project teams
Requirements
Experience in joinery, cabinet making, or fine woodworking
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to read technical drawings
Strong problem-solving skills
